David and Amanda offer a friendly, accommodating service and are always ready with a cheery smile.  Delivery service available for the vulnerable and those isolating.

This traditional family run business started out as Wattie "Wumpy" Wilson's bookshop and stationers in the early 1870's, Known locally as "FannyDans" it became associated with the local newspaper The Eskdale & Liddesdale Advertiser (or the Squeek) for 115 years. Selling a wide range of regional and national newspapers, stationery, confectionary, local maps, seasonal gifts, toys and cards, it is the obvious place to go to find out more about the town or just for a blether.

The family firm which has earned a reputation for service and quality since 1882. The relatively small shop frontage of G J Latimer & Co in Langholm town centre does not do justice to the myriad range of stock to be found within its spacious interior which contains 11,000 sq. ft. of fine quality household goods on two floors. Opening Hours: 8:30 am - 5:30 pm Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm Saturday.
